Since its launch in September 2001, University of Illinois WebStore has become the primary software distribution source for students, faculty, and staff on all three U of I campuses — in Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield. Offering over 150 software titles for purchase or download, we strive to provide the software you need at the lowest possible price.To do this, we negotiate the best prices on site-licensed software and volume purchase contracts and assist in negotiations for departmental licenses and resource-sharing purchases by groups. We also work with ©e-academy, a software delivery and license management company, to automate and manage our products, allowing you to purchase and download conveniently over the Internet.
In Fiscal Year 2008, WebStore saved University departments, students, faculty, and staff over $12 million dollars—an average savings of $7 for every $1 of product sold.
