This 1-hour overview will cover some of the interface and feature changes to Outlook 2013. The first thing you’ll see when you open Outlook is a brand new look. It’s cleaner, but it’s also designed to give you a clear view of email, calendars, and contacts. The Navigation bar and Navigation pane are separate with the Navigation Bar found on the bottom of the screen and used to navigate between Mail, Calendar, People and Tasks cards.
New features include more use of previewing messages and responding from the reading pane. We will also see how easy it is to get a quick glance at your schedule, an appointment, or details about someone you’re emailing without having to switch from email to calendar. Another new feature in the Calendar view is the ability to view your local weather forecast.
