This course is designed for those who have an understanding of project management concepts, basic skills to create and modify project plans using Project 2010, and need to use Project 2010 to manage and customize those plans through the implementation stage of a project. Topics for this six-hour course will include: importing project information; exporting project plan cost data to an Excel workbook; and making a copy of the project plan information. Attendees will also learn how to update a project plan: enter task progress; enter overtime work; edit and reschedule tasks; filter tasks; set an interim plan; and crate a custom table with custom fields. Managing project costs is next: updating cost rate tables; looking at group costs; and linking documents to a project plan. Working with project data reports will include creating a visual report, customizing it, and creating a template that can be reused.
