In this 3-hour, hands-on session you will learn the core knowledge and skills needed for SharePoint site collection and site administration. Topics include the SharePoint security model, site creation and template selection, navigation customization, list and library creation and customization, use of views, use of metadata and custom columns, and sharing and following content. The session will close with an overview of SharePoint Designer and a discussion of the most common issues end-users have working with SharePoint sites.
Prerequisites: SharePoint Site Collection or Site Admin, familiarity with typical SharePoint site features.
