Power BI – Quick Start
Interested in business intelligence and data visualization? Microsoft Power BI has the highest rating in terms of both vision and ability to deliver according to the 2018 Gartner Group Magic Quadrant review of the twenty leading business intelligence platforms. In this two-hour, hands-on introductory session you will learn about the Power BI ‘ecosystem’, how to use the free desktop client and cloud service, how to connect to a wide variety of data sources, and create powerful visualizations of data. We will use the free cloud service, but Pro licensing and the additional features it provides will also be discussed.
Prerequisites: Familiarity with Excel tables, charting and pivot tables.
