Be sure your applications are compatible with Windows 10 or 11 before upgrading. If you choose to download an ISO image, the image must be burned to a DVD or USB before it can be used. Downloads are provided for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise.

 Who can use this software and where?

Faculty and Staff - On University-owned devices. (Student employees are not considered Staff for this offer.)

What license or activation method is used?

This software is activated via the Campus KMS license manager. A connection to the campus network or VPN service is required for successful activation.

This software is available as part of the Microsoft Campus Agreement which includes Windows Enterprise. Included versions are Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise in the same file.

Specifications

This software may be installed on UI-owned computers only. A qualifying operating system license is required for the computer on which this upgrade license will be used. Under Grad Students and Under Grad Student employees may not install this software and may not be given product keys. A staff member should install the software on a UI-owned computer for the student's use.

You are allowed to use this software on your UI-owned computers as long as the campus-wide Microsoft Campus Agreement is renewed.
