Description

Although you might think of Excel as just a spreadsheet program mainly used to record and calculate data, it is also an excellent tool for analyzing data. This short course will look at one of the most appropriate categories of functions for analysis--statistical functions--including VAR, NORMDIST, and STDEV. We will also explore Excel 2013's  analysis tools such as Goal Seek, Solver, and Scenarios.

Prerequisite: Completion of Excel Getting Started, or equivalent knowledge
Hours: 2 hours

Offered at NO CHARGE to all University of Illinois (Urbana campus) faculty/staff.

Parking:
Parking in the heart of campus is scarce. We suggest that you walk or take public transportation (www.cumtd.com). City meters (restricted to 2 hrs) are available on the street at both locations. There are a few campus meters in the parking lot between Coble Hall and Swanlund Administration Building on John Street and in the parking structure at Sixth & John. There is also a City of Champaign metered lot on the corner of Sixth & Green (east of Legends). Please note that parking fees are the responsibility of the class participant.
