What is Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching?
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (previously known as Microsoft Imagine Standard and Premium) is an offering for accredited schools and departments providing access to tools commonly used in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) programs. It provides professional developer and designer tools, software, and services from Microsoft to our faculty and students. It includes Microsoft's latest technologies and cloud services to inspire and excite students. And, it provides educators a diverse set of resources to ensure their classrooms challenge, engage, and motivate students in new ways.
Azure Dev Tools for Teaching does NOT include Microsoft Office.

Software that is acquired through your Azure Dev Tools for Teaching Education Hub is only for instructional and research purposes; you can’t use it to run the infrastructure of a department.
These titles allow users to create cross-platform apps, manage application lifecycles, create modern reports with actionable insights, and more. Students can use the tools to develop and create apps, games, and websites.
Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching products may only be used for academic instruction, academic projects, and non-commercial research. Use of Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching software for commercial purposes is prohibited, except if developing apps and games for the Windows platform to be published on Microsoft app stores for no cost. Azure Education Hub
Follow this procedure to download the software developer tools:

First time students, open a browser and go to the Azure Education Hub Student Verification.
- Click the blue Sign In button.

Complete the student verification process suint your Univeristy email address.
After the verification is complete and each time you wish to the Azure Education Hub after that.
- Browse to Azure Education Hub.
- Sign in with your University email address and password.
- Select any of the software developer tools in the Education Hub to open the download pane.
- Read the software information to make sure that the software is compatible with your computer system.
- After confirming that the software is compatible with your system, select Download.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software.
Azure for Students gives you $100 credit for 12 months. It includes access to more than 25 free services, including compute, network, storage, and databases. Any charges incurred during this period are deducted from the credit.
