Description

This new two-hour workshop is for the beginner computer user.  If you have made a recent job change and now need to improve your computing skills, this workshop is for you!  We will cover the basics of working on a Windows computer including the use of a mouse and keyboard.  Topics covered will include proper start up and shut down, logging in and out, working with windows to open and close applications, getting to email, and doing a basic internet search.  We will conclude by sending files to a printer.

Prerequisite: no experience needed
Hours: 2 hours

Offered at NO CHARGE to all University of Illinois (Urbana campus) faculty/staff.

There are a few campus meters in the parking lot between Coble Hall and Swanlund Administration Building on John Street and in the parking structure at Sixth & John.  Please note that parking fees are the responsibility of the class participant.
