You must purchase one license for each computer you install the Nvivo software on. This software may be installed on University computers or personal computers.

 

What license or activation method is used?

The Nvivo license usage is controlled by a connection to the WebStore KeyServer. Prior to registering your computer, you must install the Key Access Client on your computer and have an active network connection (with VPN if off campus). Please review your order and installation instructions to find the correct server connection information.

  • Due to firewall restrictions, particularly on off-campus and wireless connections, you must connect
    to your campus VPN service before registering, installing and using this software.

  • Computer registration is required. BEFORE submitting the registration form, FIRST read and complete steps 1-8 of the NVivo Installation instructions and REBOOT your computer. Your computer must be on and the Sassafras K2 Key Verify program must have a Valid Status before you submit the registration form.
    We will respond when the license manager has been configured for your license with the License Key to complete Step 22 of the installation.
