If you already have the Abaqus software installed, please review these instructions to reconfigure the license settings on your existing installation.

ABAQUS is used for stress, heat transfer, and other types of analysis in mechanical, structural, civil, biomedical, and related engineering applications. The following products are included with this software:

Abaqus - Teaching License
  • Abaqus models up to 250,000 nodes.
  • No user subroutines.
  • Max of 4 CPU cores for parallel processing.

Teaching licenses are for classroom and instructional teaching purposes only and shall not be used for academic research. A network connection is required. This offer contains the installers for versions 2024 and 2025.

The SIMULIA Learning Community contains video tutorials. Customers will first have to create an ID and Password by following the simple directions.

Abaqus Student Edition is available to download for free for academic students, professors and researchers from here.

This software is licensed through a license manager. Please review your order during installation to find the correct server connection information.
