As part of the 2019 SAS Day conference, SAS will conduct a choice of hands-on workshops for University of Illinois students, faculty, and staff.
1:00-3:30 pm SAS Viya - A journey through all aspects of a unified AI platform (Sundaresh Sankaran, SAS)
During the workshop we will:
- Explore all essential features of the AI lifecycle (Data, Discovery, Deployment)
- Prepare data suited for AI use-cases through Data preparation
- Explore and discover insights from data
- Carry out initial hypotheses and build models through a visual modeling interface
- Tune and fit these models
- Register the model for administration through a one-click button
- Deploy to various end points, including web based.
4:00-6:30pm Statistical Analyses Using SAS University Edition (Angela Fullenkamp, SAS)
This workshop offers a tour of the SAS Studio Interface, using SAS University Edition and is designed for participants of all skill levels.
Participants will learn how to:
- Leverage the powerful graphical interface to SAS' advanced statistical software
- Perform and customize statistical analyses using predefined tasks
- Evaluate which tasks are ideal for different kinds of analyses
- Edit the generated code
- Customize tasks
There is limited seated for these workshops. The workshops will take place in a computer lab so attendees do not need bring their own laptops or install any software prior to the workshop.
