This is an annual subscription license that must be renewed each year.
The Microsoft Power BI Pro license is included in the Microsoft M365 A5 license. Before purchasing this license check to be sure that the end-user DOES NOT already have the M365 A5 license.
The reason why this license may be needed is in the case where a staff member has the M365 A1 license. The Power BI Pro license is not included in the M365 A1 therefore this license will be needed for them to use Power BI Pro.
