How Should I Collaborate in Adobe?
| I want to... | Recommended method |
|---|---|
| Work with someone on one Adobe document | Share the document |
| Let several people reuse logos, graphics, colors or other creative assets | Share a Creative Cloud Library |
| Give people approved institutional brand resources | Share a Brand/Library with View & Use access |
| Review or collaborate on a PDF | Use Acrobat sharing/review tools |
| Share finished files | Share/download the individual file |
| Work repeatedly with the same team across many related Adobe assets | Adobe Project |
| Maintain official departmental assets independent of individual employees | Adobe Project |
| Organize my own work | Individual Adobe storage — no Project required |
Not sure? Start with direct sharing.
An Adobe Project is generally useful when the same group of people needs ongoing access to multiple related assets and the workspace should persist as an organizational resource.
Adobe Projects are University-owned organizational storage. Content placed in a Project should be considered institutional content rather than an individual's personal Adobe workspace.
Students should not use Adobe Projects as the primary location for personal portfolio work or other content they expect to retain after leaving the University.
